Some processes are so complex that using an animated or interactive graphic is the only way to effectively explain it. Dynamic graphics depict a progression of events and can be interactive so that you control every aspect of the animation. They are particularly helpful when you need to depict processes that have more than one possible sequence of events or outcomes. Dynamic graphics can be three-dimensional, photographic or illustrated.
